<p>The Sizewell C Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.#SZCJobs</p><p> </p> <p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong>LCV Fitter / LGV Mechanic (Sizewell C)</strong><br><strong>VGC Group</strong><br><strong>Sizewell C </strong></p> <p><br><strong>As the LCV Fitter/ LGV Mechanic, your responsibilities may include:</strong></p> <p><br>-Ensuring vehicles remain safe, complaint and fully operational<br>-Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on LGVs, trailers and other fleet vehicles<br>-Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults<br>-Ensure all work meets DVSA, manufacturer and company compliance requirements<br>-Complete preventative maintenance tasks and defect rectification<br>-Replace and repair components e.g breaks, clutches, suspension, steering systems, gearboxes and engines<br>-Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve fault codes<br>-Conduct roadside breakdown repairs when required<br>-Maintain accurate documentation<br>-Keep workshop and equipment safe, clean and well maintained<br>-Follow safe systems of work</p> <p><br><strong>The successful candidate will have:</strong></p> <p><br>-NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair ( or equivalent)<br>-City & Guilds Light Vehicle qualifications (desirable).<br>- Full UK driving licence.<br>-MOT Tester licence (beneficial).<br>-CSCS card</p> <p><br>We are looking for an experienced and reliable LCV Fitter to inspect, maintain and repair a wide range LGV's. The successful candidate with have hands on technical experience and the ability to work alone and part of a team. They will also have strong diagnostic skills and experience working on LGV's.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
