<p>The Sizewell C Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.#SZCJobs</p><p> </p> <p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong>Mechanical Fitter (Sizewell C)</strong><br><strong>VGC Group</strong><br><strong>Sizewell C</strong></p> <p><br><strong>As the Mechanical Fitter your responsibilities may include:</strong></p> <p><br>-Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on a range of plant and mechanical equipment<br>-Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently to minimize downtime<br>-Inspect, service and maintain plant in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and project requirements<br>-Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and inline with procedures<br>-Follow LOTO and isolation procedures when carrying out maintenance activities<br>-Complete maintenance records and report defects or equipment issues<br>-Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers and other personnel<br>-Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the maintenance area<br>-Promote and uphold strong health and safety culture</p> <p><br><strong>Qualifications </strong></p> <p><br>CSCS/JIB<br>NVQ level 3 in Mechanical Fitting<br>Abrasive Wheels<br>Manual Handling<br>LOTO training including- Electrical Safety Briefing, Mechanical Briefing and Isolation Procedures</p> <p><br><strong>Experience </strong></p> <p><br>Previous experience maintaining construction plant or heavy machinery<br>Strong fault finding and mechanical repair skills<br>Ability to work alone and within a team<br>Excellent communication skills and strong problem solving skills</p> <p> </p> <p> </p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
