We&apos;re looking for an ambitious and proactive Assistant Project Manager to join our Site Operations Infrastructure team and play a key role in supporting the delivery and maintenance of critical infrastructure across the Sizewell C project.<br> </p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in highways, infrastructure maintenance, construction operations, or major project delivery environments who thrives in a fast-paced and highly regulated setting. <br> </p> <p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p> <p><br>Reporting to the Site Operations Service Delivery Manager, you will support the day-to-day coordination and management of infrastructure operations and maintenance contracts that enable the safe and efficient running of the Sizewell C project.</p> <p> <br>You will work closely with contractors and stakeholders across a diverse range of activities, including:</p> <p> <br>Highway maintenance and minor civils works<br>Temporary and permanent infrastructure assets<br>Site access roads and pedestrian routes<br>Security access plazas<br>Temporary buildings and facilities<br>Utilities and support infrastructure<br>Off-site property maintenance activities<br> </p> <p>As part of the Site Operations team, you&apos;ll help ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget while supporting a peak construction workforce of approximately 8,000 people.<br> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p> <br>Support the management of infrastructure operation and maintenance contracts with values of up to £10m annually.<br>Coordinate contractors delivering construction, maintenance and operational activities across site.<br>Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory and site-specific requirements.<br>Monitor contractor performance against KPIs, SLAs, safety standards and project objectives.<br>Support budget management, forecasting and financial reporting activities.<br>Manage stakeholder relationships across multiple functions and disciplines.<br>Assist with temporary works design coordination and design change management.<br>Ensure construction and maintenance activities are effectively integrated with surrounding contractors and project teams.<br>Contribute to weekly progress reviews and recovery planning where necessary.<br>Support monthly reporting on safety, performance, financials and future planning.<br>Champion a collaborative "one team" approach across contractors and project stakeholders.<br>Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance.<br> </p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p> <br>We&apos;re looking for a motivated individual who enjoys solving problems, managing competing priorities and working collaboratively across large-scale projects.</p> <p> <br><strong>Essential Experience &amp; Skills</strong></p> <p> <br>Experience working within a highways, infrastructure, construction or service-led operational environment.<br>Proven experience delivering work safely in a highly regulated setting.<br>Experience managing contractors, teams or service providers.<br>Strong IT, communication and stakeholder management skills.<br>Experience within large, complex projects.<br>Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.<br>Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.<br>Confidence to make decisions and manage changing priorities.<br>Collaborative approach with a commitment to building positive working relationships.<br> </p> <p><strong>Desirable Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p> <p> <br>HND, HNC or equivalent qualification in a related discipline.<br>Experience with road and network construction projects.<br>Experience delivering modular building projects.<br>Experience managing vehicle and pedestrian access infrastructure.<br>Knowledge of construction quality assurance and quality control processes.<br>Experience using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications.<br>AutoCAD experience.<br>Experience developing and managing project budgets.<br> </p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
