<p>The HPC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong>Crane Supervisor (Sizewell C)</strong><br><strong>VGC Group</strong><br><strong>Sizewell C</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Duties include:</strong><br>• Verifying that cranes are positioned correctly, loads do not exceed weight limits, and all safety procedures are strictly followed<br>• Coordinate activities among crane operators, riggers, signallers, and other personnel to ensure smooth and efficient lifting operations. <br>• Manage the workflow to prevent delays and accidents <br>• Scheduling inspections, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring any necessary repairs are completed promptly <br>• Ensure that all crane operations comply with guidance and regulations.</p> <p><br>As the Crane Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that lifting operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations, while coordinating personnel and equipment to support project goals.</p> <p><br><strong>Key Skills, Experience and Certificates:</strong><br>• CSCS Gold<br>• SSSTS or SMSTS<br>• Emergency First Aid at Work (desirable)<br>• CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS)<br> Lifting Operations - Appointed Person<br> Crane Lift Supervisor<br> Certified Rigger<br> NPORS N046 Rigging & Fleeting Loads<br> Slinger Signaller<br>• Safety Critical Medical (desirable)<br>• Full UK Driving Licence (desirable)</p> <p><br><strong>Experience </strong></p> <p><br>• Verifying that cranes are positioned correctly, loads do not exceed weight limits, and all safety procedures are strictly followed<br>• Coordinate activities among crane operators, riggers, signallers, and other personnel to ensure smooth and efficient lifting operations. <br>• Manage the workflow to prevent delays and accidents <br>• Scheduling inspections, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring any necessary repairs are completed promptly <br>• Ensure that all crane operations comply with guidance and regulations.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
