JOB PURPOSE In order to support our digital transformation, we are looking for an Integration Specialist to join our team and help accelerate the evolution of our IT landscape. The Integration Specialist is a key role for our various platforms, tools and systems. You will act as the bridge between business requirements, user needs, and technical implementation, designing a wide range of standardized, best practice-based integration solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES <ul style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm" type="disc"> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Bodoni-DTC">Designing integration solutions: Work with development teams to design application integration solutions, following best practices and meeting organization’s needs. This may involve creating APIs, middleware, or custom connectors to enable communication between systems.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Bodoni-DTC">Ensuring security and compliance: ensure the proposed solutions meet the security best practices and comply with relevant regulations.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Bodoni-DTC">Managing solutions delivery: coordinate third party teams to deliver high quality integration solutions according to the overall evolution roadmap.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Bodoni-DTC">Maintain integration tools and technologies: support operations for the delivered integration solutions, including troubleshooting, fixing and automated monitoring of interface status.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Bodoni-DTC">Supervising integration environments: supervise the integration environments setup, to ensure a robust configuration for development and testing phases, even by using automated procedures.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Bodoni-DTC">Innovation: Leverage AI-based tools and frameworks to optimize integration processes, automate workflows, and enhance decision-making capabilities.</li> </ul> KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 3+ years of experience in Application Integration or Middleware-related roles. Degree in Engineering or similar is a must. Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise integration platform such as: IBM webMethods, Microsoft Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, Boomi, TIBCO, SAP Integration Suite, Oracle Integration Cloud or equivalent middleware/iPaaS technologies. Solid understanding of application integration concepts and patterns, including: synchronous and asynchronous integrations, API-based integrations, event-driven architectures, message-oriented middleware, ETL and data exchange processes. Experience designing, developing and troubleshooting integrations between enterprise systems. Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP services, JSON and XML. Previous software development experience (Java, C#, Python or similar) is a must. We are looking for professionals with experience in Application Integration and Middleware platforms rather than Data Integration-only environments. Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and tools applied to the software lifecycle (GitHub, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Test Automation) is considered a plus. Fluent in Italian and English. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
