Auckland Council is looking for a motivated Compliance Officer to join our Biosecurity Compliance Programme, supporting the delivery of high‑impact, multi‑disciplinary compliance services across the region. In this role, you’ll contribute to proactive initiatives that identify patterns of risk and harm, reduce ongoing compliance issues, and strengthen biosecurity outcomes. Your work will span education, engagement, and enforcement — using the right intervention tools to address root causes and drive long‑term behaviour change. You’ll collaborate with teams across council, partner agencies, and local communities, supporting the delivery of Māori outcomes and the Māori Responsiveness Plan for Tāmaki Makaurau. This is a 40‑hour per week fixed term position until 21 June 2027, Monday to Friday.
