About the role To support the ANZ Pricing & ES team, by providing technical expertise in respect of product pricing, experience studies and other initiatives. Key Accountabilities <ul type="disc"> <li style="color:black">Support the pricing actuaries in pricing treaties for ANZ market; responsibilities will focus on Open Treaty Reviews</li> <li style="color:black">Support ES requirements for the region if any</li> <li style="color:black">Provide Quote support/advisory recommendation for various Lines of Business and maintenance of pricing Terms of Trade.</li> <li style="color:black">Provide support in inputs through analysis and maintenance of pricing Terms of Trade.</li> <li style="color:black">Support the ANZ pricing actuaries in any local/regional projects as required.</li> <li style="color:black">Work effectively with a cross-functional team of experts from client markets, underwriting, and claims towards assessing the risk associated with a treaty or opportunity.</li> <li style="color:black">Provide technical, research and project management input for product development initiatives and pricing policy.</li> <li style="color:black">Always ensuring the adherence to pricing guidelines and standard methodologies, and their consistent application.</li> <li style="color:black">Mentoring the junior associates of the team.</li> </ul> Key Skills & Knowledge <ul type="disc"> <li style="color:black">Excellent technical knowledge in all areas of pricing, experience studies and product development and fundamental knowledge of the products and services offered by insurers/reinsurers.</li> <li style="color:black">Ability to apply actuarial judgement in a commercial environment.</li> <li style="color:black">Good understanding of actuarial standard methodologies.</li> <li style="color:black">Knowledge of actuarial L&H modelling and data analytical software's: SAS and R</li> <li style="color:black">Organization, prioritization and planning skills.</li> <li style="color:black">Knowledge of L&H actuarial modelling and data analytical software's. </li> </ul> About the Team Part of pricing & underwriting services team with around 80+ members between Actuarial and Underwriting teams located in Bangalore. This role will be supporting Australia and New Zealand market (ANZ) for reinsurance pricing - actuarial and experience studies.
