Job summary
Hollyoaks Medical Centre is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic GP with an interest in Women's Health to join our friendly, forward-thinking practice as a part-time Salaried GP.
We are initially offering 2 sessions per week, with the opportunity to increase sessions in the future as the practice continues to grow. This role would suit a GP looking for flexibility while joining a welcoming team that values collaboration, continuity of care, and delivering the highest standard of patient care.
Main duties of the job
We are recruiting a Salaried GP to work 2 sessions per week, with the opportunity to increase sessions as the practice grows.
Hollyoaks Medical Centre is an EMIS Web practice with a list size of over 5,000 patients. You will join a supportive clinical team of four GPs, focused on providing high-quality primary care.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centred general medical services in accordance with the GMS contract, GMC guidance, and local NHS requirements. Responsibilities include undertaking face-to-face and remote consultations, managing acute and chronic conditions, maintaining accurate clinical records, participating in clinical administration, and contributing to quality improvement, clinical audit, and the ongoing development of the practice.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care as part of our friendly and supportive clinical team.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing face-to-face, telephone and online consultations for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.Participating in the practice duty doctor rota and undertaking home visits when required.Diagnosing, treating and managing patients in accordance with the GMS contract, GMC standards and current NHS guidance.Prescribing safely, requesting and interpreting appropriate investigations, and making timely referrals to secondary care and community services where appropriate.Maintaining accurate clinical records using EMIS Web.Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.Participating in clinical governance, safeguarding, audit, practice meetings and continuing professional development.Supporting the delivery and ongoing development of Women's Health services within the practice.This job description is intended as a guide to the main responsibilities of the role and is not an exhaustive list of duties.
