Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic ANP to join our friendly team of Doctors and Nurses located at Albion Street in SE16.
Main duties of the job
The post holder would be required to work up to 27 hours a week. The post holder will be expected to see Adults and Children who have been telephone triaged by the Duty Doctor. Skills in history taking, assessment and examination are essential. Experience in Chronic Disease management would also be beneficial.
About us
We have daily de-brief meetings to support clinical staff and regular clinical/team meetings. Essential qualities are good communication skills, being able to work within the team and autonomously within your professional boundaries.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Registered Nurse (Adult/Child/Mental Health as appropriate) with current NMC registration. MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice/Advanced Nursing Practice (or working towards an accredited MSc where applicable). Independent Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification (V300). Advanced Clinical Assessment and Physical Examination qualification. Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Advanced Life Support (ALS/ILS) certification (or willingness to obtain). Evidence of practice in line with the four pillars of Advanced Practice (Clinical Practice, Leadership, Education, and Research).
Desirable
Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice (if not essential). Experience in service improvement or clinical audit. Teaching, mentoring or supervising staff/students. Experience using NHS electronic patient record systems (e.g. EMIS Web) Leadership and quality improvement experience. Participation in research or evidence-based practice. Flexible approach to working across clinical services. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Experience Essential
Significant post-registration nursing experience (typically 5+ years, depending on the role). Experience working autonomously in assessing, diagnosing, treating and managing patients with undifferentiated and complex conditions. Experience in clinical decision-making and risk assessment. Independent prescribing experience. Experience managing long-term conditions and acute presentations. Experience working within a multidisciplinary team. Evidence of leadership, supervision, and mentoring junior staff. Experience participating in clinical audit, quality improvement, and service development. Competent in using electronic patient record systems and NHS IT systems such as EMIS Web

Experience of working in primary care Experience of working in a GP practice
