Job summary
This is a great opportunity to take on a diverse and dynamic role within the NHS as a General Practice Admin support Officer you will help support all levels of the administration team and reception team, when required to do so.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping the surgery running smoothly and support both staff and patients by handling day-to-day administrative tasks, managing records and ensuring efficient communication within the practice.
You will be working with an experienced and friendly team and will be offered full support and training, where needed.
Please note that you will be expected to work across two sites when required.

Person Specification
Knowledge Desirable
Proficient in the use of IT e.g. MS Office Outlook, Excel working with spread sheets and databases Understanding of data protection and confidentiality principles
Experience Essential
Confident in taking and making phone calls Ability to prioritise a variety of tasks
Desirable
Experience of Emis System Experience of working in a GP practice Knowledge of the IGPR System.
Qualifications Essential
Achieved good general level of education GCSE in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent
Communication Skill Essential
Able to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal format. Ability to deal confidently with phone, email and face -to-face enquiries. Good interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information appropriately.
