Main duties of the job As a Head of Maintenance at a Barchester care home, you'll ensure a clean and well-maintained environment, helping residents feel at home and enabling staff to perform effectively. The role involves various tasks within the care home and its grounds, from repairing leaky taps to planting bulbs. You'll work independently, lead a team, and assist the General Manager with budget planning. Coordination with contractors for specialized jobs is also required. This role requires property maintenance experience, at least one trade skill, reliability, flexibility with working hours, a full UK driving license, IT literacy, and GCSEs in Maths and English.

Qualifications Essential

Hands-on experience in property maintenance, at least one trade skill, reliability, flexibility, full UK driving license, IT literacy, GCSEs in Maths and English
