Main duties of the job
You would be required to:
Deliver a mix of routine and urgent GP consultations (face-to-face and telephone as clinically appropriate) Manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions Provide appropriate prescribing, investigations, and referrals Ensure safe and effective clinical decision-making and safety-netting Maintain accurate and timely clinical records Visit patients in their own homes To be involved in the teaching and training of medical students Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team Participate in clinical meetings and practice development activitiesWe are proud of the relationships we have built with our patient population. Our practice operates from two locations: Radford Medical Practice and the Student Health Centre at Nottingham Trent University's City campus.

What does a typical day look like?
Our GPs typically see 14 patients in the morning and 14 patients in the afternoon, with a mix of face to face and telephone appointments and dedicated time for administration at the start and end of each session.
We believe this structure allows you to manage your workload effectively while still providing the level of care our patients deserve. You will have time to complete clinical tasks, follow up results and manage your workload within your working day.
We aim to provide a predictable working pattern that allows you to maintain a good work-life balance.
Prescribing in accordance with locally agreed or national guidelines
In general the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care

Experience Essential
