Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic individual with excellent and clear communication skills, as well as organisational & secretarial skills to support the administration team at the Audiology Department at West Middlesex University Hospital. The successful candidate will deliver a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service, supporting clinicians and managers with clinic management activities. We are seeking an individual with a positive attitude towards change, a commitment to service improvement, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to meet the complex needs of patients.
Main duties of the job
Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the department including the provision of clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the admin team.
The post holder will communicate directly with patients to arrange or amend appointments, and provide a professional, empathetic, and confidential response to telephone enquiries.
Attending to patients when booking in for their appointment. Ensure correct and accurate information is recorded.
