About the Role
As our Training, Education & Development Administrator, you'll be at the heart of coordinating and supporting learning across the organisation. Working closely with colleagues, managers, volunteers and external partners, you'll ensure training programmes are organised, compliant and accessible to everyone who needs them.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and professional individual with experience in an administrative, coordination or support role. The successful candidate will have experience maintaining systems and records, organising meetings, events or training sessions, and working effectively with a range of stakeholders within a busy and complex organisation.
You will be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and confident using digital systems to manage information, produce reports and support effective communication. Experience of handling sensitive and confidential information in line with data protection and information governance requirements is essential.
The role requires excellent organisational, communication and data management skills, with the ability to collate information from multiple sources and present it clearly and accurately. You will be able to manage competing priorities, work independently and as part of a team, use initiative, take accurate minutes and maintain detailed records while meeting changing deadlines.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a calm, flexible and professional approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience within a learning, training or education setting and an understanding of compliance, risk management or quality assurance processes would be advantageous.

Role Summary
The postholder will support the induction, training, education and development of The Kirkwoods workforce. This role requires an organised, self-motivated individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who can liaise effectively with colleagues and external partners. Flexibility is essential, as the role involves a broad range of administrative and coordination duties.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate training, education and development activities across the organisation, including scheduling sessions, maintaining records and supporting staff engagement.
Maintain the training databases and documents, monitoring mandatory training compliance, producing reports and supporting leads to meet organisational requirements.
Manage staff records on the digital learning platform, ensuring learning assignments are accurate and up to date.
Provide administrative support for induction, training and development activities, including preparing materials, organising meetings and taking minutes where required.
Act as a first point of contact for training-related enquiries, providing guidance and support to staff and volunteers.
Support audits, compliance monitoring and reporting activities to ensure training records remain accurate and effective.
Review and update training and induction documentation to maintain quality and compliance.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across The Kirkwood to promote a positive learning culture and continuous improvement.
