Main duties of the job
You will be based within the procurement team in the Pharmacy Department at UHCW NHS Trust supporting the safe and cost effective procurement of medicines for use within the trust and ensuring all invoices are processed in line with suppliers terms and conditions.
Applicants should have good communication & organisational skills; be self-motivated and possess excellent interpersonal skills, be flexible and able to work well in an environment of change and transition. Applicants must also have good computer skills and be able to work well under pressure.
You will be expected to develop good working relationships with other departments within the Pharmacy and Hospital.
You will work closely with the rest of the pharmacy team to provide high quality pharmaceutical care to all patients within the Trust.

Responsible for sending approved orders via the Pharmacy Electronic Data Interchange Software (EDI) or email Process routine electronic and manual invoices using the EDI Software and the Pharmacy Stock Control System referring any cost queries and anomalies to the Specialist Pharmacy Technician Procurement To answer the telephone in a friendly and efficient manner with referral to other pharmacy staff as appropriate Assist with the processing of credits Input procurement data into the relevant spreadsheets and data bases

Qualifications Essential
oGood basic education, 4 GCSE's, to include GCSE English oDemonstrate excellent numeracy & literacy skills oEDCL, NVQ2 ITQ or Business and Admin or willing to work towards
