We are looking for a passionate and committed General Teacher (Mathematics Focus) to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist setting, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve academic success, develop independence and build confidence in their learning.
As a valued member of staff, you will deliver engaging and inclusive Mathematics lessons alongside teaching across a range of curriculum subjects. You will create a structured, supportive and nurturing classroom environment where every pupil is encouraged to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
The Role
You will:
Deliver high-quality teaching with a strong focus on Mathematics. Adapt learning to meet a diverse range of SEND needs. Track pupil progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and educational planning. Lead and manage classroom support staff effectively. Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and independence. Work closely with families, colleagues and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils. Play an active role in the wider life and development of the school.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Is an enthusiastic and reflective teacher with strong Mathematics knowledge. Has experience of, or a genuine passion for, working with pupils with SEND. Believes in high expectations and inclusive education for all learners. Can build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues. Is committed to ongoing professional development and school improvement.
