About this role
Appropriate teaching qualification, e.g. PGCE/QTS/DTLS or equivalent or be prepared to gain this within 2 years of appointment.A relevant degree and/or professional qualification within the specialist subject area (Maths)Experience of teaching to Key Stage 4 (Year 10–11) in any setting (e.g. mainstream schools, alternative or specialist provision)
A passion for working with young people and enabling them to access the very best opportunities available to themExperience of working with students who have gaps in their education, knowledge and understandingExperience of working with students who need additional support (SEND/Behaviour)An ability to focus on the needs of individual learners from a range of backgrounds, with diverse and complex learning needs
