Get to Know the Team
The Group Marketplace team manages Grab's marketplaces across Southeast Asia. You will work with team members across multiple departments by marketplace levers such as pricing, incentives, and allocation. The team also generates business insights and proposes data-driven strategic plans to grow the business across both transport and deliveries.
Get to Know the Role
You will use data-driven insights to create a sustainable, reliable and efficient marketplace for Grab's transport business. We are looking for you to have (a) familiarity with large datasets and experience piecing together data to form insights and (b) ability to work with many different teams including Product and Country Operations. Reporting to Marketplace Manager (Mobility). This position is based at Grab's Mapletree Business Centre, D7, HCMC.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
You will lead projects involving teams to improve metrics on all sides of the marketplaceYou will propose new experiments and own end-to-end experimentation process including experiment design, rollout and analysis of resultsYou will monitor daily marketplace metrics, investigate short-term anomalies and troubleshoot with the product teamYou will develop daily tactical solutions and longer-term strategic plans to improve marketplace dynamicsYou will work with different teams and departments to support goals and projects of Grab as a whole
What Essential Skills You will Need
You have 4 years+ of relevant working experience with a focus on data analysis and project managementYou have graduated bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or a relevant fieldsYou can perform complex functions in Excel with exposure to SQL or Python with the ability to provide data-driven recommendations4+ years of experience delivering clear, engaging presentations with proficiency EnglishExperience applying and utilizing AI tools is a plus.
