Join SIXT's dynamic Accounts Receivable team in Lisbon and take ownership of key financial processes for the French market. You will work closely with experienced colleagues across a fast-paced, global organization and contribute directly to the efficiency of our billing and collections activities.
YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
You process and manage incoming payments, ensuring accurate allocation to customer accounts in line with French market standardsYou monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on overdue invoices, and coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve payment discrepanciesYou assist with the reconciliation of customer accounts, identifying and correcting mispostings or open itemsYou support the preparation of regular AR reports, ageing analyses, and KPI dashboards for the French marketYou communicate with customers, sales teams, and external partners regarding billing queries, credit notes, and payment termsYou contribute to month-end closing activities, including balance confirmations and account reconciliationsYOUR SKILLS MATTER
Academic background Currently enrolled or recently finished a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related fieldAccounting knowledge Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processesTools Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plusMindset Strong analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail and accuracySoft skills Self-motivated, well-organized, team player and able to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environmentLanguage Fluent in English (written and spoken), with knowledge of French being a plusWHAT WE OFFER
