The Opportunity
As a Senior AI Engineer, you’ll play a key role in our AI and Automation Centre of Excellence, designing and delivering platforms that enable teams to build impactful, scalable AI solutions across the business.
You’ll join us on a starting salary of £75,000 per annum. This is a hybrid role, with flexibility to work remotely and travel to one of our EDF sites once a month across the UK, including locations such as #London.
Working with modern cloud technologies and advanced AI frameworks, you’ll influence technical standards, mentor others, and lead engineering best practice. You’ll help shape solutions that support our journey towards An Electric Britain.

Strong proficiency in software engineering and platform development, with advanced programming skills in PythonExtensive experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code and AWS or Azure cloud servicesLeading the design and build stages of agent and multi-agent systemsAble to drive technical design decisions and establish engineering standardsComfortable communicating with senior stakeholders on technical and project delivery detailsWhat You’ll Be Doing
Designing and developing internal AI and machine learning platforms that enable scalable solution deliveryDriving Infrastructure as Code adoption using Terraform across cloud environmentsSetting engineering standards and leading technical design decisions for AI systemsBuilding and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines and MLOps capabilitiesCollaborating with stakeholders to align AI solutions with business goalsPay, Benefits and Culture
