HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement process, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring efficient inventory management.
Assist in the procurement of goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards are metAnalyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savingsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill purchasing requirementsMaintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data in the ERP systemNegotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedulesPrepare and analyze reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and supplier performanceMonitor inventory levels and assist in forecasting future needsEnsure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activitiesAssist in the evaluation and onboarding of new suppliersContribute to process improvement initiatives within the procurement departmentDemonstrate knowledge of supply chain, inventory, and vendor management principles while applying strong analytical, communication, time management, and data reporting skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Be self-managed, detail-oriented, and capable of performing under pressureFollow all plant, ESH, CBS, quality, and department processes and proceduresOther duties as assignedNOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related fieldProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skillsExperience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systemsMust be able to work on-siteLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
