Are you a strategic relationship builder who thrives in complex healthcare environments? We are looking for a Key Account Manager to act as a trusted partner for key accounts in western Switzerland (French speaking) and help drive successful access to AbbVie products.
In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, working closely with a broad network of internal and external stakeholders. You’ll develop customized account strategies, build strong relationships, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure aligned, effective engagement across the account landscape.
What you’ll do:
Develop tailored approaches and clear engagement plans for key accounts, with defined objectives and activities to optimize the use and funding of AbbVie productsAct as the main AbbVie contact for non-clinician stakeholders, building trusted relationships and understanding their priorities, constraints, and decision-making processesPlay an active role in brand teams and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to deliver on brand objectivesDrive business growth by anticipating barriers to product usage and supporting provider formulary access to help achieve revenue targetsCoordinate internal interactions, build consensus, resolve conflicts, and escalate issues where neededMonitor contracting and tendering activity across key accountsBuild and manage relationships within the account ecosystemLead multidisciplinary teams without formal authority, creating alignment and solving challenges within the in-field teamExecute engagement plans and ensure consistent interaction across all in-field functions involved with the accountWork with Market Access Value Proposition colleagues to provide stakeholders with tailored clinical, economic, and service-oriented informationTrack the execution and impact of account activities and measure performance regularlyNegotiate, close, and sign deals, and support or lead the contracting and tendering process as needed What you bring:
A university degree in economics, law, marketing, or a related field5+ years of experience in a sales or commercial role within the healthcare environmentStrong knowledge of the healthcare landscape, including provider and payer environments and healthcare funding flowsHighly developed influencing skills, combined with sound political awareness and judgmentA reputation for authenticity, integrity, and trustworthinessA strong understanding of cost pressure, containment, and provider needsBusiness-fluent English, and French, with German being an advantageThe ideal candidate will also be able to:
