Internship: Indirect Procurement Avery Dennison Operations Posted on Jul 4, 2026 Job Description About the role Do you want to gain valuable, hands-on experience in strategic sourcing and procurement within a global materials science leader? Avery Dennison is seeking two highly motivated and detail-oriented Indirect Procurement Interns to join our team at our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest. This internship provides a unique opportunity to learn from the ground up, working closely with our experienced Category Managers and supporting various aspects of the indirect procurement process. This internship is scheduled to start on the 1st of September for a duration of 6 months . The role requires a minimum commitment of 2 days per week on-site at our Oegstgeest office, with the flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week . We are looking for two interns to focus on specific spend categories: - Intern 1: Focused on the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), Facility, and Freight categories. - Intern 2: Focused on the Utility, Packaging, and Professional Services categories. Key Responsibilities While each intern will have a primary category focus, both will support ad-hoc categories and general regional procurement activities: Strategic Sourcing & Category Support - RFP Execution: Support Category Managers in the end-to-end RFI/RFQ/RFP (Request for Information/Quote/Proposal) process. - Bid Analysis: Perform quantitative evaluations of supplier proposals, using TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) models to compare pricing, service levels, and sustainability impacts. - Market Intelligence: Conduct research on market trends, supplier landscapes, and macroeconomic factors to provide data-driven insights for category sourcing strategies.
