For an international logistics service provider in Oostrum, we are looking for a customer service specialist who ensures clear, fast and accurate communication regarding shipments. This is a full-time temporary assignment until 1 January 2027, with a possible extension until 31 March 2027. As a customer service specialist within a Control Tower environment, you act as the key link between customers, consignees, carriers and internal departments. Working in a fast-paced international logistics setting, you ensure full shipment visibility and smooth end-to-end transport execution. With your structured approach and service-oriented mindset, you contribute to strong customer relationships and efficient operational performance. This role involves working 40 hours per week in day shifts and offers a temporary contract running into early 2027, with the possibility of extension based on performance. Key responsibilities: - Handling, registering and processing incoming customer requests via CRM systems, email and telephone - Acting as the main point of contact for customers, consignees, carriers and internal stakeholders - Providing accurate and timely updates on shipment status and transport processes - Independently resolving complex and time-sensitive operational issues - Identifying disruptions and initiating corrective actions where needed - Managing and documenting deviations, returns and claims - Preparing and participating in customer and transport performance meetings and contributing to process improvements What do we offer? - Monthly salary between €2,650 and €3,500 gross, depending on experience - 7 ADV days, 24 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance - Weekly salary payment every Wednesday - Pension scheme via StiPP from day one - Access to over 300 on
