The company operates manufacturing facilities in India and Europe, supported by sales offices worldwide. The Global R&D Centre is located in Enschede, the Netherlands, where approximately 160 employees work on the development of new passenger car tyres for the Apollo and Vredestein brands. In addition, Apollo Tyres operates a smaller R&D office in Vallendar, Germany, employing around 25 specialists. About the department The Testing Department within Global R&D is responsible for the evaluation and validation of prototype tyres. Testing activities are carried out both indoors, using advanced test machines, and outdoors on dedicated test tracks. The department operates internationally, conducting testing activities across Europe and beyond, with its main base at the European R&D Centre in Enschede. The internship position is embedded within this Testing Department and offers exposure to international tyre testing operations in a professional R&D environment.
