For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Lead Data Engineer (Customer Data Platform) The Data Engineering Lead helps build our MarTech platform. Data is the foundation that drives all our MarTech use cases. As Engineering Lead, you will shape the data engineering and integration strategy. You will work closely with business users, data analysts, and data scientists to understand use cases, and collaborate with architecture to translate them into solutions for engineers to implement. CDP & Customer Data Platforms 5+ years of experience working with a Customer Data Platforms (CDP). Proven experience defining customer identity, profile unification and audience strategies. Strong understanding of customer data activation and omnichannel marketing ecosystems. Experience with CDPs which have a flexible/open schema is a plus. Data Architecture & Engineering Strong Data Engineering background. Experience designing scalable data integration architectures. Solid understanding of: ○ Data modelling ○ Customer identity resolution ○ Data governance ○ Data quality frameworks ○ Event-driven architectures ○ API-based integrations Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Google GCP Technical Leadership & integration Experience leading (engineering) teams Experience translating business requirements into solutions for teams to implement Ability to interact with business users and architecture Experience integrating CDPs with: ○ CRM platforms ○ Consent Management platforms ○ Customer Engagement solutions Ability to working together with and challenge vendors and review technical designs Soft Skills Strong communication and presentation skills.
