Efficient use of energy, environmentally-friendly mobility and security in a connected world we solve some of the most critical challenges that our society faces while taking a conscientious approach to the use of natural resources. 1 Internship: Technical Assistant for Engineering Lab Job Description: In your new role you will: º PCB Assembly: Perform PCB assembly using both manual SMD soldering as well as professional automated equipment including pick and place machines and reflow ovens º Process Optimization: Support the setup, programming, and optimization of automated PCB assembly processes to ensure high efficiency º Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough PCB testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues º Design Collaboration: Support the design and layout of PCBs using industry -standard tools to meet engineering requirements º Automation Development: Develop and implement further automation solutions for lab processes toto streamline operations º Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of processes and results to ensure traceability anadnd knowledge sharing Location: Villach Candidate Profile: You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field ofof Artificial Intelligence or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer: º Electronics Knowledge: Possess basic knowledge of electronics and PCB assembly principles to understand core technical concepts º Soldering and Assembly: Demonstrate first experience or strong interest in manual SMD soldering as well as automated assembly processes including pick and place, reflow soldering, and SMT º Design Tools: Have experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, Cadence, or similar software to support layout tasks º Automation Interest: Show a genuine interest in automation and programming to contribute to process improvement initiatives º Soft Skills: Exhibit strong organizational and communication skills to facilitate clear information exchange and task management º Teamwork: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve common project goals º Language Skills: Possess fluent English language skills and German language skills as a plus This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full -time), employment group B for Bachelor students (https://www.feei.at/wp- content/uploads/2024/04/minimum -salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
