Because at Lam, we believe that when people are the priority and they re inspired to unleash the power of innovation for a better world together, anything is possible. 1 Mechanical/Fluids Engineer (all genders) LOCATION: Villach, AT, 9500 REQ ID: 194059 WHAT YOU WILL DO * Conceptual design and architecture development of chemical fluid delivery systems. * Conducting feasibility analyses, system calculations, and evaluating simulation results. * Developing technical concepts and deriving system requirements for new functions and products. * Defining operational concepts such as functional and process descriptions (Theory of Operation) for software development. * Developing verification strategies and planning and evaluating tests to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability. * Conducting risk analyses and ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards. * Providing technical leadership for concept evaluations, variant comparisons, and technical decision-making processes. * Close collaboration with internal departments and suppliers to develop robust and cost-effective solutions. * Creating the required development documentation according to the product development process. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR * Completed technical education (HTL, FH, or university) in mechanical engineering, fluid technology, process engineering, or a related field. * At least 3 years of professional experience in the development of technical systems. * High level of technical independence and the ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems in a structured manner. * Knowledge of fluidics, hydraulics, temperature control, or chemical supply systems. * Experience with technical calculations, simulations, and data-driven analysis. * Experience with CAD systems (e.g., NX, Inventor, AutoCAD) is advantageous. * Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. * Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus. * Structured work style and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively. * Willingness to travel. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
