Position Overview

The Bartender is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and operation of one of the club-level bars. This position may also include working at a private bar located in a suite or loft.

Essential Job Functions

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of your assigned bar, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining company and health department standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with the setup of your assigned bar, including creating an attractive liquor display and stocking cups, garnishes, bar tools, and supplies.

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.

• Receive drink orders from guests and servers, accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system, and process transactions.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each event while ensuring compliance with all health and sanitation standards.

• Create a welcoming, professional atmosphere that enhances the guest experience and promotes beverage sales.

• Assist with replenishing garnishes, ice, mixers, and other inventory throughout the event to ensure uninterrupted service.

• Communicate inventory needs to supervisors to maintain adequate product levels during events.

• Follow all Craft Culinary Concepts policies and all applicable state and local alcohol service laws and regulations.

• Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of the assigned bar following each event, including:

• Cleaning and sanitizing bar tools and equipment.

• Breaking down bartender stations.

• Consolidating cups and other chargeable items.

• Leaving the work area clean, organized, and event-ready.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must possess a valid TEAM or TIPS Certification.

• Must possess a valid Maricopa County Food Handler Card and have it on file with Craft Culinary Concepts. The card must also be in your possession while working each event.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

• Minimum of two (2) years of bartending experience in a high-volume environment, preferably in a stadium, arena, convention center, or similar venue.

• Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, standard drink recipes, and bar terminology.

• Ability to accurately perform basic math involving U.S. currency.

• Must successfully complete all pre-employment paperwork, a background check, and a math assessment.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Must maintain professionalism and discretion while protecting confidential guest information.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Regularly bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and work in confined spaces.

• Stand continuously for up to four (4) hours or more.

• Work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other non-traditional hours based on event schedules.

• Perform duties in varying temperatures and high-noise environments.
