Tasks As a CAT B2, you take on the following responsibilities: * You perform maintenance and repair work in line maintenance, including independent troubleshooting and defect rectification in accordance with your qualifications. * You take responsibility for carrying out your maintenance and repair tasks in line with your qualifications. * You conduct visual inspections, independently troubleshoot issues and interpret the MEL. * You document all work steps you have performed. * You follow technical instructions and coordinate and supervise maintenance work carried out by colleagues with lower qualifications in your assigned work area. Austrian Onboarding JourneyRecruiting Timeline Requirements * You have completed vocational training in an aviation engineering or technical field and hold a valid EASA Part-66 CAT B2 license (AML), ideally with type ratings for A320 / B787 / B777 and/or ERJ-195. * You have already gained professional experience in a similar role and can ideally provide proof through an extract from a relevant system. * You hold a fully valid driver's license (Class B or equivalent EU standard). * You demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and safety in everything you do. * You are willing to travel for work. * You are comfortable working shifts. * You work independently and remain calm and keep your sense of humor even in busy or high-pressure situations. * You have unrestricted access to the Austrian labor market.
