A Deli Assistant will prepare and serve hot and cold food, maintains deli counter, and provides excellent customer service. The role requires strict food hygiene working in a fast-paced work space. Key responsibilities and requirements generally include: Food Preparation: Cooking, assembling, and displaying hot meals, sandwiches, salads, and snacks to high quality and presentation standards .Customer Service: Welcoming customers, taking orders, and responding to queries in a courteous and efficient manner. Hygiene & Sanitation: Following strict HACCP and food safety guidelines by cleaning work areas, utensils, and slicer .Stock Management: Monitoring inventory, replenishing displays, and ensuring no expired products are sold. Qualifications: Previous catering or retail experience is often beneficial.
