Purpose

Lead, direct, and control all Fire Safety operation activities in The Netherlands (project and service delivery) to achieve its short- and long-term financial and operating objectives as set by the business plan.

Key Accountabilities

Responsible for overseeing the project and service delivery function of the Fire Safety business line

Accountable for delivering forecast and revenue

Ensuring accurate reporting

Accountable for people leadership within the department

Establish an overall vision and strategy and approve policies and procedures for the Fire Safety operations that contribute to the overall corporate business plan.

Set and monitor the performance of the Fire Safety operations against standards and targets in areas such as administration efficiency, cost control, revenue, legal compliance, and human resource management.

Lead, guide, evaluate, and develop a team to ensure that operations achieve their business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws.

Reports to This position reports to Head of Fire Safety

Required Skills and Knowledge

Technical literacy in relevant areas

Financial literacy with respect to project costs, margin and financial optimization of projects and services

Experience in resource optimization – internal v 3rd party

Experience in Fire Safety systems sector is advantageous

Experience in project and service delivery processes

Strong understanding of processes, tools and methods within the profession

Ability to establish, maintain and develop successful and stable customer relationships

Ability to create, monitor and improve KPIs leading to improved CSAT

Ability to pro-actively analyze and address topics in a self-motivated manner

Required Experience and Education

University degree in Business Economics & Management or Operational Technology or related field

Minimum of five years’ experience in projects and service delivery

Experience from working in a customer delivery project environment

Personal Characteristics

Excellent leadership skills in a multi-disciplined service environment Excellent communication and decision-making skills.

Excellent ability to drive change and a continuous improvement in culture
