About this role
**Work tasks include, but are not limited to:** - Preparing a wide range of bubble tea, specialty drinks, coffee, and other beverages according to company recipes and quality standards. - Providing friendly, professional, and efficient customer service in Finnish or English (additional languages are an advantage). - Greeting customers, taking orders, operating the POS system, handling cash and card payments accurately. - Preparing ingredients, cooking tapioca pearls, brewing tea, cutting fruits, stocking toppings, and ensuring ingredients are fresh and properly stored. - Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with Finnish food regulations and company procedures. - Cleaning workstations, kitchen equipment, beverage machines, dining areas, storage areas, and customer facilities throughout the day. - Washing dishes and utensils, taking care of daily cleaning duties, and participating in opening and closing procedures. - Receiving deliveries, checking inventory, rotating stock (FIFO), and reporting shortages or quality issues. - Restocking ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies to ensure smooth daily operations. - Assisting with food preparation, light kitchen duties, and other café operations when required. - Working efficiently during busy periods while maintaining high product quality and excellent customer service. - Cooperating with colleagues to ensure efficient teamwork and a positive working environment. - Following company policies, operational procedures, health & safety regulations, and supervisor instructions. - Supporting new team members during training when required. - Performing other reasonable duties related to the daily operation of the bubble tea shop. **The successful candidate should:** - Be reliable, punctual, and responsible. - Have a positive attitude and enjoy working with customers. - Be able to work in a fast-paced environment. - Be willing to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. - Previous experience in cafés, restaurants, fast food, or bubble tea shops is an advantage but not required, as training will be provided. - The applicant must have the legal right to work in Finland. - A valid Finnish Hygiene Passport (Hygiene Pass) is required. - Possess good communication skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
