About this role
Further connect existing machinery (cranes, container systems, heavy machinery etc.) to the truck or complete an electrical connection from end to end. Testing and detecting any faults or defects. Connecting the hydraulic circuit: such as being able to bend pipes, compressing high-pressure flexibles. Completing a hydraulic connection. After the work done: testing and detecting any faults. Detecting and repairing leaks. Welding mainly basic construction work. Doing preparatory work yourself: cutting plates, drilling holes, bending, sawing off tubes, etc. and then assembling/welding these correctly - welding is done with a semi-automatic machine. Afterwards (after painting by a colleague) assemble all parts on the truck/machine. Technical Degree in a related field (automotive, electrical, mechanical,...) or proven with experience. An open mindset and being eager to work with TCS. A big interest in and feel for trucks, heavy machinery and mechanics. Previous experience as a truck or heavy machinery technician. Basic welding skills (semi- automatic). An interest in electronics, as builds are also computer-controlled. You can work on a project with a colleague or on your own. Having a driver’s license is a plus.
