We are now looking for a Subject Lead – Business Management to take ownership of a key curriculum area, driving teaching excellence, student success, and innovation in one of our most dynamic programmes.
The Opportunity
This is a pivotal academic role where you will lead the design, development and delivery of the BA Business Management programme, ensuring an outstanding and engaging student experience.
You will play a central role in shaping how business is taught at LCCA—embedding experiential learning, industry relevance and inclusive teaching practices. Working closely with the Course Director, you will lead on curriculum innovation, support academic colleagues, and ensure students are motivated, challenged and prepared for the realities of modern business.
Our delivery model is flexible and responsive, with teaching taking place across weekdays, evenings and weekends—reflecting the diverse needs of our students.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Leading the design, development and delivery of modules within the Business Management programme Teaching across undergraduate levels and contributing to a high-quality student learning experience Driving student success, progression, retention and attainment Managing key aspects of course delivery including assessment, standardisation and quality assurance Supporting and collaborating with academic colleagues to enhance teaching practice Embedding LCCA’s teaching philosophy, including experiential learning, reflective practice and continuous feedback Building strong links with industry to enrich teaching and student employability Supporting curriculum development across subject areas such as: Marketing, Digital Transformation and E-Business Leadership, Management and Organisational Behaviour Entrepreneurship and Innovation Strategy, Sustainability and Global Business Contributing to course monitoring, enhancement and academic governance processes Engaging in research, scholarship or professional practice to maintain subject expertise
What We’re Looking For
You are a passionate educator and subject expert who thrives in a fast-paced, student-focused environment.
You will bring:
A degree and postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline (or equivalent professional experience) A teaching qualification (PGCert or equivalent) Experience teaching and assessing in Higher Education A strong track record in curriculum design and delivering engaging learning experiences Experience contributing to or leading academic programmes or subject areas Understanding of quality assurance, assessment practices and student support
You’ll stand out if you have:
Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA or above) A PhD or higher research degree Strong industry connections within business-related fields
