Under the responsibility of the Purchasing Director, you will deal with all matters related to project purchasing and production purchasing, for all the Group's sites. In addition to this role of group category purchasing, you will be the 1st point of contact for Purchasing at the Waregem (BE) & Weert (NL) plants. With a strong focus on quality, innovation, and sustainability, we work every day towards our ambition: “Crafted to make you smile.” The job Your mission will be to negotiate and select the raw materials, packaging materials and services necessary for the company's production, according to volume, cost and quality objectives. As such, you will be responsible for analysing the market and defining the company's raw material needs. You will collect the various needs of the factories in advance. You will select products and suppliers by participating in the analysis of the supplier market and the qualification of these through audits. And you'll manage the commercial negotiation and the final budget by drafting contracts, following up and communicating the procurement plan. Who are you English & Dutch is essential. Position based in WAREGEM site (BE) or WEERT site (NL) Travel to be expected. (2-4 times / Month) prepared to travel and spend at least one day per week in the other site CSR Skills/experience in carbon footprint reduction will be appreciated as Emmi is B-CORP Certified. As markets are more and more volatile, proven experience on futures market will be a must.
