The Role We are looking for an accomplished Communications Specialist (m/w/x) to become the editorial voice of The British School of Brussels (BSB). This is a hands-on role for an experienced communications professional who combines exceptional writing skills with strong marketing instincts, project management capabilities and a keen visual eye. This central role is a major contributor to strengthening BSB's reputation and supporting student recruitment. Key Responsibilities Include: - Editorial leadership and content creation. - Parent and community communications. - Executive and internal communications. - Brand, marketing and visual communications. - Development of communication standards and best practice. Qualifications & Experience - A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. - Significant relevant professional experience in communications, marketing or content management. - Excellent command of English (C2 level), with exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills. - Experience managing websites (experience with WordPress or equivalent) and digital content management systems. - Experience delivering integrated communication and marketing projects from concept through to completion. - Strong experience producing high-quality presentations and visual communication materials - Experience within the education sector or an industry with complex communications environments would be an advantage.
