Position Objective:
The primary objective of this position is to develop technical competence in ceramic and sanitary ware manufacturing processes through structured on-the-job training and project-based assignments across key production and laboratory functions. The position holder will participate in a structured two-year Graduate / Junior Engineer Development Program within sanitary ware manufacturing operations, with a primary focus on laboratory testing, process control, and production support activities. Upon successful completion of the two-year development and evaluation period, and subject to satisfactory performance, the position holder will be confirmed into a permanent engineering position under a permanent employment contract.
Key Responsibilities
• Acquire foundational knowledge and practical experience in ceramic manufacturing processes, including raw material preparation, slip casting, glazing, firing (kiln operations), and finishing processes.
• Support process monitoring, data collection, and analysis to identify opportunities for process optimization, yield improvement, and defect reduction in alignment with production targets and quality standards.
• Execute assigned improvement and engineering projects according to the designated production station and development phase.
• Perform laboratory testing and evaluation related to raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), process control parameters, quality systems, and safety regulations throughout all production and laboratory activities.
