Valeo Wiper Systems Plant in Skawina specializes in the design, manufacturing, painting and assembly of wiper blades, arms and mechanisms. Additionally, in 2013 production of motors for wipers has began. Plant’s main activity is supported by a modern research and development center which is currently employing about 100 staff members.
What you will be doing:
• Evaluating Technical Requirements (Valeo & different OEMs) to define the best Motor solution considering product constraints.
• Managing technical interfaces with multiple disciplines and customer engineering teams, and communicating clearly on project progress and technical risks to division-level stakeholders.
• Leading Design reviews at component and product level with suppliers, customer and internal stakeholders.
• Proposing optimized and innovative test cases and validation scope to ensure a robust product design.
• Executing technical engineering tasks and designing solutions based on existing Valeo standards and rules.
• Actively helping the team solve problems using methods like QRQC, and writing clear technical documentation or reports.
• Keeping an eye on project budgets to make sure we are using our resources smartly and efficiently.
• Continuously learning and improving your technical skills while also helping to guide and onboard junior engineers.
• Using our digital tools on a daily basis to work faster and suggesting your own ideas on how we can improve our internal processes.
• Sharing fresh, innovative ideas to improve our current solutions and helping us identify new inventions that could be patented.
Job Requirements:
• Engineering degree, with a preference for mechanical, material, or electrical engineering.
• 2 to 3 years of professional experience in electromagnetic systems or electrical motors.
• Technical Knowledge (Mandatory): Strong technical understanding of electromagnetic behavior, electrical motor concepts, constraints, and environment.
• Technical Skills (Preferred):
• Experience with statistical analysis (basic university-level knowledge).
• Familiarity with BCAD tools for simulating electromagnetic motor behavior (e.g., winding and magnet sizing), though not mandatory.
• Experience managing requirements from original equipment manufacturers OEMs
• Experience in the automotive industry is a plus, but candidates from other sectors such as aerospace or home appliances are welcome.
• Capability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
