We are looking for an HR Advisor to join a high-impact Employee Relations team that partners closely with leaders to navigate complex, real-world situations with confidence and consistency. In this role, you will help create a workplace where employees feel respected, leaders are equipped to lead effectively, and decisions are grounded in fairness, compliance, and sound judgment.
As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for managing a broad range of employee relations matters, ranging from performance management and absenteeism, to navigating workplace conduct concerns and dispute resolution. You will serve as a trusted advisor to team leaders and team members, providing clear, practical guidance that aligns to our policies, practices, and applicable employment laws.
You will do work that matters by helping team leaders make better decisions, strengthening workplace culture, and ensuring we operate with integrity and accountability in every interaction.
What you will do:
• Provide expert consultation to team leaders and team members on performance management, misconduct, workplace concerns, and employee experience matters
• Coach team leaders to build capability, drive accountability, and handle situations with consistency and confidence
• Research, assess, and resolve complex employee relations issues, offering clear, well-reasoned recommendations
• Ensure alignment with company policies, practices, and employment legislation while balancing risk and business outcomes
• Partner with key stakeholders to deliver consistent, compliant, and fair outcomes
• Own cases end to end with a focus on timely resolution, strong documentation, and high-quality decision-making

Basic Qualifications - Typically has six or more years experience in employee relations or as an HR Generalist or associated HR position - Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Psychology or related degree
Preferred Skills/Experience - Experience in performance coaching, conflict resolution and administering disciplinary action - Preferred previous experience working in HR Operations or HR Service Center - Ability to work independently and to identify when to engage others - Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills - Excellent listening skills Excellent oral and written communication skills - Strong attention to detail - Proven ability to maintain confidential information - PC and Microsoft Office proficiency
This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $98,175.00 - $115,500.00
