The role
This role supports procurement across collaborative manufacturing and packaging materials for ANZ, working with local and global procurement teams to secure supply, manage suppliers and support material contracts that enable business goals. You will partner with production, quality and safety stakeholders to help ensure materials and suppliers meet required performance and compliance standards. This role is predominantly based in the Sydney CBD office with monthly visits to the Minto, NSW factory.
What you'll be responsible for
In this role, you will:
• Support procurement for collaborative manufacturing and packaging materials across ANZ, partnering with global portfolio procurement on contracts and coverage.
• Contribute to CM/PM strategy development and execution, aligning procurement activity with business requirements and supplier capability.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to support reliable supply, competitive pricing, quality standards and continuity of supply.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, monitor market trends and support procurement decisions through cost modelling, forecasting and analysis.
• Work closely with production, quality and safety teams to ensure packaging materials and CM suppliers meet required standards and compliance expectations.
We're looking for someone who
You’ll succeed if you bring procurement experience in food-based or related manufacturing environments and can manage supplier, commercial and stakeholder priorities with clarity.
• Has experience in procurement, collaborative manufacturing and packaging materials (min 5 years) and can operate confidently in ANZ food manufacturing or related FMCG environments
• Brings strong skills in:
• Supplier relationship management,
• Negotiation, contract management,
• Cost modelling,
• Procurement forecasting,
• Excel
• Stakeholder engagement
• Analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Thinks end-to-end and takes ownerships for results
• Is comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving organisation
• Values collaboration, clarity and low-ego ways of working
• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
