The University of Miami's College of Arts and Sciences has an exciting opportunity for a full time Sr. Classroom Assistant to work in Miami, FL.
The Sr. Classroom Assistant will work in the Linda Ray Intervention Center, as a member of the center’s Multidisciplinary Educational team providing training, screening, evaluation, and interventions to young children with disabilities or developmental delays, primarily from underserved communities.
Core responsibilities:
• Assist Lead Teachers in the implementation of academic and recreational activities within the classroom • Provide support to students in participation in all camp activities

Core Qualifications:
• High school diploma and/or GED • Three years of relevant work experience • Some experience working with children is preferred (including tutoring, babysitting, etc.)
Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
