About this role
Ultradent, a global name in oral health, is looking for an EPMO Project Manager.
We're growing quickly, and with that growth comes real opportunity — and a lot of motion. We manage a wide range of projects — software implementations, process improvements, governance initiatives, and facilities projects among them — and no two look quite the same. Things move fast, and at the edges they can get messy. We're looking for someone who can step into that and create order: bring structure to the ambiguous, and turn "figure it out" into a clear plan. As a medical device company, we work within real requirements and quality expectations, so getting the details right matters as much as moving quickly.
We already have the framework, the processes, and the systems established. What we need is someone with the judgment to apply them proportionally — running lean where the risk is low, going deeper where it isn't — rather than running the full playbook on everything by default.
This is a full-time, in-office position, five days a week. We value our team culture and believe collaboration and problem-solving thrive best in a shared, in-person environment.
What you'll do
• Own projects end to end — scope, timeline, budget, and quality — from kickoff to close. • Build the plans, timelines, and milestones that fit the work in front of you. • Manage stakeholders across the department and the company — keeping people informed, aligned, and bought in. • Lead cross-functional teams, manage dependencies, and drive to outcomes. • Anticipate risks and clear roadblocks early, with minimal supervision. • Drive change management alongside delivery, and keep the work visible through clear, consistent reporting.
What you bring
• At least 5 years independently managing projects end to end is ideal. You bring the craft fully formed — we'll teach you our business, not your profession. • Deep command of project management fundamentals, independent of any single method or tool. You scale the rigor to the risk. • Fluency with technology — including AI — to work faster and sharper, and an instinct to find a better way. • Excellent communication; you make complex work legible to any audience, from the shop floor to the C-suite. • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience. CAPM, PMP, or similar a plus. Experience in medical device manufacturing, supply chain, or QMS is a plus.
Who you are
• You create order out of ambiguity. You're drawn to messy, undefined problems and energized by turning them into something structured and clear. • You own the framework — you don't just follow it. You have the confidence to make the call without waiting to be told. • People want to work with you. Much of what you deliver depends on colleagues across the company who are already stretched thin, and you earn their time through credibility and genuine rapport. • You care more about getting it right than being right. You test ideas early, learn fast from what doesn't work, and pull good thinking from whoever has it — you're not trying to be the smartest person in the room, you're trying to make the room smarter.
