About this role

Job Details: Pay: $17.60/hr + $1.50 attendance bonus

2nd shift receives a $2 shift differential

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

Hours:

Monday – Friday, occasional weekend work

1st Shift: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm or upon completion of assigned work

2nd Shift 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm or upon completion of assigned work

SUMMARY: Responsible for setting up combos, move and place product as needed for production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up of Combos and get ready for production

• Move product throughout the production floor as needed

• Weigh and label the combos

• Maintain Inventory of product

• Keep work areas clean

• All other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality

• Ability to utilize pallet jack

• Ability to pass driver certification

• Must be able to read product label by numbers

• Ability to carry out essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, within safety guidelines

• Ability to wear, use and maintain personal protective equipment

• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures

Physical Requirements / Environment:

• Stand/Walk: Continuously (up to 4 hours before 1st break)

• Lift/Carry: Continuously (20 – 50 lbs.)

• Simple/Firm Grasping: Frequently

• Other Physical Requirements:

• Bend/stoop, squat, reach above shoulder (up to 1 ft.): Occasional

• Environment: Continuously - Working around moving machinery, working in a cold, slippery and damp environment (28-34 degrees F)
