What You Will Do In this role as part of our dynamic accounting team, you will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency in this global and local accounting role. You will be responsible for some monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including Lease Accounting for the Global Group, and detailed entries for the NZ entity, with input and review of the full NZ results.
With a keen eye for process improvement, you'll identify and implement enhancements to streamline financial operations. Additionally, you’ll research and advise on technical accounting matters, lead sections of annual financial audits, both for APAC and the US.
You will work as part of the APAC and Global team, supporting other team members to ensure all deliverables are achieved by the required deadlines. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, global organisation while collaborating with senior leadership in APAC.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required, or in process of finalising CAANZ membership
• Diligence and excellent attention to detail, and skilled in efficiently managing and interpreting complex data
• Experience interpreting and implementing financial reporting standards
• Comfort with working under pressure with multiple demands while consistently meeting tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work seamlessly with colleagues in multiple jurisdictions
• Strong process and internal controls experience, including implementation of system and process improvements
• Enjoy working with others, a team player with a keen desire to help and contribute to the team and Trimble’s overall success
• Always eager to learn
• Comply with Professional CAANZ standards, relevant legislation and Company Policies
• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP system is a plus
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP is a plus.
