Job Description: Accountable for delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving profitable growth within an agricultural portfolio. Responsible for managing and expanding relationships with farming and agribusiness clients, identifying opportunities across credit and non-credit products and services. Conducts credit analysis, structures lending solutions, and provides trusted financial advice tailored to the agricultural sector. Partners closely with internal specialists and lending teams to support client success and long-term business growth.

CUSTOMER

• Actively use sales platforms to build an understanding of agricultural customers' operations, financing needs, industry trends, and local market conditions. • Constantly build knowledge of the agricultural sector, including commodity markets, farm economics, regulatory changes, and broader economic factors affecting producers and agribusinesses. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with agricultural producers, agribusinesses, industry associations, and key centres of influence within the agricultural community. • Enhance the TD brand by actively participating in agricultural industry events, farm shows, community initiatives, and networking opportunities.

SHAREHOLDER

• Develop and implement sales strategies to proactively attract, acquire, and retain agricultural and agribusiness customers while supporting profitable portfolio growth. • Build new relationships and deepen existing customer relationships by understanding clients' farming operations, business cycles, growth plans, and succession objectives. • Structure customized agricultural lending solutions and provide advice that reflects the unique risks and opportunities within the agricultural sector. • Understand agriculture-specific market conditions, industry trends, commodity cycles, and production risks to provide value-added advice while effectively managing portfolio risk. • Prepare credit applications with a strong understanding of agricultural financial statements, cash flow cycles, collateral, and industry-specific risk considerations.

EMPLOYEE / TEAM

• Provide agricultural industry expertise and insights to internal partners and colleagues to support client strategies and business development activities. • Keep current on emerging trends, technology advancements, regulatory developments, and economic factors impacting the agriculture industry. • Foster strong partnerships with Agriculture Services colleagues, credit partners, and specialized advisory teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.

BREADTH & DEPTH

• Experienced professional accountable for business development and relationship management of agricultural producers and agribusiness customers. • Manages a portfolio of agriculture and agribusiness relationships with varying levels of cash management, deposit, and credit complexity. • Demonstrates strong agricultural lending and credit expertise, including the ability to interpret and analyze farm financial statements, agricultural cash flows, and collateral structures. • Builds trusted advisor relationships by providing industry-specific insights and tailored financial solutions that support clients' long-term business objectives.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• Undergraduate/Graduate degree and/or • 5+ years of relevant experience and/or Associate Program
