Overview Certified to execute isolation and hydrostatic weld testing services in accordance with the Technician Advancement Mapping program, approved site and other company procedures to assure safe and proper use of equipment and satisfactory completion of the job.

Key Responsibilities Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Performs senior level isolation testing services on client work sites performing any of the following duties: Walk down of lines, pipe preparation, isolation pug maintenance, grip tight isolation plug maintenance, double block & bleed isolation, nozzle tests, plain end/partial system tests in accordance with the Technician Advancement Mapping program. • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and coordinators to assess project requirements, develop effective strategies, and execute hot tap procedures. • Troubleshoot and address unexpected challenges that may arise during the course of operations, adjusting procedures as needed. • Complies with TDW and customer HSE standards and procedures and stops any work utilizing TDW equipment when unsafe conditions exist that threaten equipment, property damage or bodily injury. • Follows standard troubleshooting procedures to alleviate problems encountered in the field, ensuring safe efficient field performance from equipment. • Train, mentor, and certify new HT&P trainee, Hot Tap Entry, & Hot Tap Advance, and Isolation Entry technicians.

Experience

• High school diploma, GED, or country specific equiveillance • Proven experience as a hot tap technician • Proficiency in setting up and using specialized hot tapping and line stopping equipment. • Solid understanding of pipeline systems, including materials, isolation methods, and equipment requirements. • Experience with technical bolting including operation of hydraulic torque, tensioning equipment desirable

• Ability to problem-solve • Ability to travel extensively (greater than 80%) and work according to a changing schedule • Excellent time management skills • Great mechanical aptitude • Great communication skills to work with customers • Excellent interpersonal skills • Emerging leader and influences HT&P Field personnel and external customers • Has ability to understand customers full scope of work and to provide best practices or alternative solutions to issues outside of HT&P scope of work
