Responsibilities and Functions • Maintenance and repairs must be completed in a timely manner. • Using troubleshooting and analytical skills to determine the root cause of mechanical and electrical failure. • Monitor and report maintenance metrics to management on a regular basis to assess performance. • Collaborate in calibration activities as remove gauges from the machines and report of equipment’s out of calibration.
Educational Level and Special Training Required • Electromechanical technician. • High School is preferred. • Experience in medical device or other regulated industry preferred.
Work Experience Required Minimum of 2 years of experience
Qualifications and Skills • Good mechanical and electromechanical analysis skills. • Electric control knowledge. • Basic Electricity and pneumatic knowledge. • Good interpersonal skills. • Excellent organizational skills. • Identify hazards or any event that could cause harm or deterioration to health. Report accidents, incidents or near misses.
Physical Requirements • Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, etc. • Review printed materials as manuals and specifications. • Ability to use common office equipment (e.g. calculator, computer terminal).
