In this hands on role, you will play a key part in transforming machined components into high quality finished products in a clean, safety focused environment.
What will you be doing?
• Finishing medical devices from machined components to final product while meeting quality and compliance standards • Performing basic finishing processes such as cleaning, tumbling, polishing, oxidation and prepackaging • Safely operating finishing equipment, ovens, passivation systems and laser marking tools • Using optical and mechanical tools to support accurate finishing and inspection processes • Taking precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, comparators and gauges • Reading and following blueprints and work instructions • Completing required documentation to comply with FDA, QSR and company quality standards • Collaborating closely with operations, materials and receiving teams to meet production goals
What will you need to be successful?
• High School Diploma or GED required, with technical or vocational training preferred • 0 years of experience required, making this a great entry point into manufacturing • Basic finishing skills such as deburring, bead blasting or polishing are helpful • Ability to work with tight tolerances and small components with attention to detail • Comfort standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds • Ability to follow instructions, read technical documentation and operate basic computer systems • Strong teamwork mindset and commitment to safety, cleanliness and quality
