Job Title Tufting Lead | 3rd Shift Position Overview Objective: The Tufting Crew Leader is responsible for the direction of the Creeler/Burn-In crews and the assistance of the shift supervisor. Including filling-in and assisting the Warping Supervisor.
Responsibilities
Direct burn-in crews in assignments, and monitor the burn-in crews output.
Direct Creelers in assignments to creel machines, and monitor the output of the creelers
Assist Tufting QC with weight checks and check rolls
Assist Supervisor in efficient movement of operators
Assist Supervisor with daily operations of department
Escort potential new hires and interview
Will process paperwork in absence of supervisor
Assist in keeping work areas in a clean, orderly manner
Miscellaneous duties as required
Marginal function
Assist waste teams in Department and Plant
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
